Bluelilies trading as Anneka Arabians still breeding fine Crabbet Arabians since 1980...
We call the beautiful Colo Valley home. Surrounded by the wilderness of the Wollemi National Park, our valley is a secret, verdant green garden. The pristine Colo River flows through it, a glasshouse lagoon festooned with blue waterlilies fringes our paddocks and all is embraced by the ancient mountains and gorges of the Wollemi.
This is the home of the prehistoric Wollemi Pine and its mountains echo with long past hoofbeats on the old Tom Quilty Track.
It is also home to our horses....
All of our family of horses carry old and legendary bloodlines, tested by time. The stallions, mares and youngsters of Anneka carry the bloodlines of two immortal sires:
MAGIC CARPET and ARABIAN PARK PHAETON
Many of our horses have two, three and four crosses to both of these sires. We were fortunate indeed to acquire Magic Carpet and Arabian Park Phaeton sons and daughters as our original breeding stock, with many thanks to the Grundy family. Some of these we still have and some have sadly passed on.
Our breedings are predominantly 100% pure crabbet and some are outstanding high percentage youngsters from multi champion mares which we acquired because of their beauty, quality and outstanding show achievements, such as Annastashah (bred by Adam King from King Estate International).
We look closely at pedigree, hence the predominance of Magic Carpet and Banderol lines, however just as important is the arabian type, beauty and strength. All of our older horses have had outstanding show achievements, they themselves were bred from champions.
All of our youngsters have the same potential and we look forward to partnering these lovely young stallions and mares with owners who will help them realise their full potential, in whatever field that may be.
